He has worked at one of the largest national accounting firms – Deloitte – as well as one of the largest national law firms – Holland & Knight. Dustin was introduced to the psychedelic industry when his cannabis-business-clients started exploring psilocybin mushroom opportunities in Jamaica; and his cannabis-doctor-clients started exploring research opportunities related to psilocybin mushrooms. After talking with hundreds of people about their spiritual psilocybin experiences and then discussing the medicinal value of psilocybin with dozens of doctors, Dustin decided that it was time to push the psychedelic movement forward by building a team of the top medical, spiritual, and legal professionals in Florida with a focus on RESPONSIBLE legal reform. And, hence, Mr. Psychedelic Law was created.
Edgar J. Asebey, Esq. is a regulatory and transactional attorney with over two decades of experience in federal regulation of pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food, dietary supplement and cosmetics companies. Since 2015, he has been working on Cannabis-related matters and transactions and since 2018 he has provide regulatory compliance, business transactional, venture finance and international trade services to hemp/CBD companies. Edgar brings a wealth of knowledge and over 20 years of experience to life science, Cannabis and hemp/CBD clients who require novel solutions to complex issues.
Dr. Michelle Weiner, DO MPH is double board certified in Interventional Pain Management and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She is the chair of the Florida medical marijuana advisory committee. She is known as South Florida’s Medical Cannabis and CBD expert and educator. Dr. Weiner completed her residency and fellowship training at the University of Miami. She practices personalized medicine focusing on the etiology and offering individualized holistic treatment options. Her research focuses on using cannabis as a substitute for opioids in chronic pain patients. She is working with University of Miami investigating how to optimize the bioavailability of cannabinoids in water soluble nanoemulsions as well as measuring endogenous cannabinoid levels. She is faculty at nova southeastern university in which students shadow her in the office. Dr. Weiner is the Vice President of Mr Psychedelic Law, a non-for-profit with the mission of responsible legal reform of psilocybin mushrooms in Florida. Her goal is to help patients improve quality of life, decrease pharmaceuticals and prevent chronic disease.
Dr. Rob Streisfeld, NMD is a doctor of naturopathic medicine and a trained gourmet natural foods chef who has a passion for traditional/cultural foods and natural medicines, which drives his mission for the informed and responsible use of various natural compounds including cannabinoids and psychedelics. As a consultant and spokesperson for some of the leading manufacturers and brands in the Natural Products Industry for over 20 years, he has been able to travel the United States to lecture on a variety of health and nutrition topics. Often known as “Doc Rob,” he provides an informed and innovative perspective to support branding, marketing, PR, and other business development needs with a focus on education, community, and health-driven lifestyle products.
Paula Savchenko, Esq. is an attorney at the Law Offices of Moffa, Sutton, & Donnini, P.A, based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
